I am a first-generation, bilingual Latina licensed clinical social worker from Little Rock, Arkansas who made it over to Dallas, Texas in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. I graduated from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig Sooie!) with my bachelor's in psychology and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for my MSW. My heart has always known that I wanted to serve others and when I became a therapist, I knew I had made the right decision! I began working in non-profit agencies to serve those at high risk and in need. I eventually transitioned into private practice where I became the clinical director where my role expanded to supervising master-level Interns, leading staff, conducting trainings in the community/conferences, and creating programs. The experience I have gained over the years has led me to focus on opening my virtual practice where I serve residents from Arkansas and Texas. Happy Autumn Counseling & Supervision draws its name from the profound symbolism of autumn. Just as the season encourages embracing change and releasing what no longer serves us, my counseling sessions aim to guide clients through personal growth and resilience. The choice of "Autumn" as the name not only signifies the transformative journey clients undergo but also pays homage to another source of inspiration –my smiling, goofy, and happy dog named Autumn. Much like her infectious energy, my practice is dedicated to providing a positive and uplifting experience for all clients. At Happy Happy Autumn Counseling & Supervision, PLLC we empower individuals to redefine their happiness! In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes with my dog Autumn, slow mornings, cooking, camping/being outside, spending time with family, and traveling.
