Introduction

I typically work with adults (18+), families, and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, self-image issues, relationship problems, and other concerns. My specialty populations include: college students, medical and mental healthcare professionals, military members, and ordained clergy. My job is to listen well and ask good questions in order to help my clients cultivate positive, lasting changes in their relationship with themselves and others! I primarily utilize talk therapy from various approaches, depending on the needs and desires of the client. Overall, my goal is treat all clients and their issues with the compassion they deserve. I have extensive experience working with spiritual and religious issues, LGBTQIA+ concerns, military members and their families, as well as young adults. Seeking help can be a scary thing - especially when it comes to trusting another person with those vulnerable parts of yourself! As a therapist and counselor educator with 15+ years experience, I know that making first contact is often the hardest step. I appreciate your courage and willingness to seek help - and I look forward to working with you soon.
