First and foremost, you have taken a huge step by seeking out services for your mental health. If there is one certainty, it is that life isn't always easy. Whether you are struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, or maybe just having a hard time adjusting to your current life situation; you deserve to have someone who can help you through this time in your life. We all deserve the opportunity to be validated and supported in our journey to grow through our trials and tribulations. In the midst of overwhelming emotions, we can feel powerless or hopeless. I help support my clients in gaining the power to choose a new response. It is in our ability to choose to respond, rather than react, that we begin to create space. It is within that space that we begin to grow, and find our sense of peace and safety. The power to take space and respond, is what gives us back the control that we feel we have lost. We don't have the power to choose where we come from, but we do have the power to choose where we go from there. I hope that you choose to allow me to be a part of that journey. I have experience working at in-patient facilities, community mental health centers, as well as in private practice. I have been practicing mental health services since 2017. I practice a person-centered approach, meaning the treatment is tailored to the individual. I utilize compassion and unconditional positive regard, creating the most therapeutic environment possible for my clients. I specialize in providing trauma treatment through the use of EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My expertise is in providing treatment to individuals with a history of trauma and attachment ruptures, which often exacerbate symptoms of depression, anxiety, codependency, addiction, and self-harm. Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes each, and follow an individualized treatment plan that we decide upon together. Treatment will always align with the therapeutic goals of the client.
