Desiree completed her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. She then went on to receive her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Multicultural Clinical Practice from Augsburg University. Desiree practices primarily from a client-centered, solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral framework. Her work stems from the belief that clients come to therapy with a number of skills already, and her goal is to help clients recognize their strengths and use these strengths to address any obstacles they are currently experiencing. She believes in collaboration with her clients and working together to help them achieve their highest level of functioning. Desiree's primary focus is in individual therapy and she enjoys working with adults, teens, and school-aged children.
