Hello, I am a Latino/a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has 7 year's experience as a mental health therapist. I started my career working with foster/adopted youth, adolescents, and families in residential and school based programs. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, immigration and abuse trauma, PTSD, self-harm/SI, life transitions (work, school, identity, relationships) and grief and loss. I specialize in working with Latino/a individuals and families, but am open to all races and cultures. I have worked with individuals, couples and families as a unit and individually. I also specialize in attachment and how the past influences present behaviors through CBT and Psychodynamic approaches. My approach is client centered, meaning, I don't have an agenda and I include trauma informed care when interacting with my clients. In sessions, I create a judgement free zone and offer a safe space to be your true authentic self. I am about open communication and actively listening to my clients needs even when we aren't a good fit for one another.
