Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and General Civil Mediator in the state of Georgia. I have worked as a counselor since 2005 and cannot imagine another career. My areas of interest include mood disorders, legal issues, workplace conflict, anxiety/panic, general conflict resolution, relationship matters, family concerns, life transitions, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and parenting. I utilize a combination of solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, client-centered, and mindfulness approaches to help my clients achieve their goals for seeking counseling. I provide a safe space for us to work collaboratively, in order to brainstorm solutions and develop a plan to practice and implement them. I highly encourage my clients to express their needs and their goals for seeking counseling. Please be selective about the counselor/therapist you choose. I welcome diversity and I am supportive of all people! I am a very passionate and empathetic counselor who believes that there is no obstacle that we cannot overcome if we believe in ourselves and know that we are greater than any obstacle. I am a married mother of 2 very active children. I believe in self-care and use this as a premise when I am working with clients. With managing my private practice and having a family, self-care is close to breathing in clean air. In my free time, I enjoy walking nature trails, exercising, reading magazines, gardening and spending time with family and friends. I am so glad that you are seeking counseling and well on your way to living a better version of you! No worries, you are not alone because I will walk this journey with you. This journey starts with your decision to try. How can I be of support to you today?
