Introduction
In my first experience with therapy, I discovered that I felt fundamentally disconnected from myself. Seems odd, right? And yet this is such a common experience that few people actively recognize when it's occurring. Anxiety, depression, grief, relational conflict, trauma responses — these are symptoms of underlying pain and fracturing that can be healed. You might know the origin, such as an acute loss or trauma, or maybe you have no idea why you feel lonely, on edge, misunderstood, or unable to face life transitions. I believe you're the only one who can ultimately make yourself whole, but you don't have to find the way alone. I help adults of all ages to locate and acknowledge the sources of their stress, pain, and conflict, and to uncover resiliency, inner harmony, and connection. With a subspecialty in trauma studies, my approach is to always create an emotionally safe environment: I meet you where you are, tend to your vulnerabilities, and adapt to your unique needs.
