I believe that kindness and compassion are two of the most important qualities in a therapist and I strive to embody those qualities in my life and work every day. Helping others brings me great joy. I am passionate about helping people navigate depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, as well as many other issues. I practice with an integrative approach that involves guiding clients in exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences for the purpose of gaining insight and creating change in their lives. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. I utilize mindfulness-based interventions and psychoeducation about practical coping skills that allow my clients to work toward achieving their own mental health goals.
