***Currently Accepting New Clients*** RELATIONSHIP ISSUES Have you felt insecure your whole life? Constantly pretending? Low self-esteem? Hard time trusting others? Sabotaging your relationships? Craving intimacy yet feeling unwanted? It may be time to heal your anxious attachment. Stop worrying and sabotaging. Become more secure and build health, loving relationships. Experiencing discord in a relationship can have a profound impact on your sleep, work, and overall quality of life. COUPLES COUNSELING Falling in love is the easy part, keeping that love is a different story. Couples learn to replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions and to repair their past hurts. Interventions designed to increase closeness and intimacy are used to improve friendship, deepen emotional connection, and create changes which enhances the couples shared goals. Gottman Method and EFT. Therapy provides a space to untangle the complexities of your relationships, regain your footing, enhance your communication skills, deepen your understanding of yourself and your partner, and foster harmony and ease in your friendships, family connections, and romantic relationships. PARENTING Parenting comes with its own set of challenges. I offer guidance to parents looking to enhance their communication with their children. I empower parents to better understand their children's unique needs, strengths, & areas of development/self-esteem and enabling them to advocate for their children to reaching their full potential. I serve as a source of invaluable guidance and support for parents offering evidence-based strategies grounded in love. Our counseling approach is centered on embracing the joys and complexities of parenthood, supporting you as you navigate the exciting transition into parenthood or adjust to new stages of family life. In addition, I specialize in supporting parents, teenagers, and siblings with Neurodiverse (Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) children. I am a dedicated and empathetic professional with a unique skill set. I possess a deep understanding of the complex dynamics that exist within such families & the impact these neurodiverse conditions can have on each family member and parenting. I work with individuals, couples and offer parenting groups. FAMILY PLANNING Whether deciding to have kids (or not), trying to have a baby with your partner, dealing with the uncertainty of a surprise pregnancy, or deciding to adopt or go through fertility treatments, family planning can feel overwhelming and scary. It can bring up larger worries and anxieties in the relationship about finances, changes in the relationship dynamic, bodies, infertility, sex, etc. I provide a safe place for you to process all the feelings and emotions along the way. Whether you're preparing for the arrival of a new family member or have already welcomed a child, the physical and emotional changes can leave you feeling uncertain and uneasy. Therapy tailored to new parents or those expanding their families is vital for both your child's development and your own peace of mind. Sleep deprivation, a lack of social support, and the unique challenges of parenting can be overwhelming, but therapy can help you find balance and return to a state of equilibrium. **Parenting Groups Offered. ***Individual and Couples Counseling available. DIVORCE - SEPERATION - GRIEF Going through a divorce can be emotionally taxing. It can be a lonely experience as friends and family may not always understand the full extent of one’s emotions and struggles. I provide a safe and empathetic space to help you navigate this transition, cope with the changes, and find a path to healing. Conflict resolution, co-parenting guidance, self-esteem and self-identity along with grief and loss are all part of the process. Therapy offers a non-judgmental space to share your feelings and to address your unique needs and circumstances, providing support and guidance during this challenging life transition. *****Areas I do NOT treat****   Because you deserve to have the best quality care, and to work with someone who has the training and structural capacity appropriate to your needs, I want you to know that I do not treat the following issues: * I am unable to treat psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, etc). * At this time, I am unable to accept new clients with suicidal ideation, recurrent self-injurious behavior (cutting, burning, etc.), or who need intensive outpatient programs. * I do not treat domestic violence and/or disputes * I do not provide court mandated treatment or assessments or provide testimony in legal cases.
