I began my path as a social worker more than 25 years ago, mainly focusing on helping people with mental health in local communities. During these years, I've seen how important it is to use science to guide our decisions as professionals. I've learned how to identify and treat a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, attention, relationships, mood, and trauma. I've worked with people of all ages and have come to believe that real change happens when we build strong connections and use our full selves – that means our beliefs, dreams, past, and abilities. I'm a firm believer that meaningful change comes from building genuine relationships and being our true selves in those connections. Looking back on my journey, my goal has always been to make positive changes in the lives of those I help. Through my experience and growing wisdom, I'm committed to making a real difference in the lives of the people I serve.
