Hi there, I’m Denae and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe that healing is not only an individual journey but also a collective one. My approach to therapy is holistic and transpersonal, which acknowledges the interconnectedness of all things and focuses on mind, body, and energy/spirit together. Sessions are always client-centered -- whatever feels most central to you and your life is what we focus on. I often bring in somatic practices to foster self-awareness. This means we may work on identifying signals from your body that can help you with emotional regulation and building resilience in the face of challenges. I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and experiences including queer and trans folks, those living with addictions, people who are experiencing grief, parents, individuals who have been incarcerated, folks who have experienced trauma, any and every body. I work with individual adults, couples, and teens, age 13 and up.
