Introduction

Hello! Over the past twelve years I've had the privilege of helping people in different ways. I've been a teacher in elementary school for six years, school counselor for five years, and a counselor for multiple ages for the last four years. I've learned so much in the last five years with my experience in school counseling as well as private practice. Some of my experience has been helping clients with trauma, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, motivation, self esteem, confidence, coping with life changes, as well as other topics. My husband is a firefighter, so I have front row experience with first responders and the difficulty of those jobs. I've worked alongside play therapists and will be a registered play therapist (RPT) soon. Play therapy, I have found, can be effective with all ages to help take therapy to a new level of self-understanding by going beyond traditional talk-therapy. Today is your day to do something for yourself, or maybe for your child, family, or relationship. It can be a hard place to begin, but you are doing it. I believe you are the expert of your story and have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to walk with you during this part of your journey.
