Deena Watkins

Life can present us with challenges, and there are times when we need guidance and support to get through difficult or confusing situations. I work with individuals, couples, and families to problem solve, make positive changes, and empower clients to create the life they envision. My name is Deena Watkins and I would like to offer my services as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have dedicated my career to helping others navigate through and overcome difficult circumstances. I have over 20 years of counseling experience, and I have worked with clients of all ages. In addition to being a LPC, I have 30 years of experience as a Certified School Counselor and Certified School Teacher. My area of specialty is counseling children, parents and educators. I also provide parenting classes/support groups in a small group setting. My understanding of childhood development and behavior, allows me to quickly assess the concern and develop a treatment plan to fit your child's needs. Another service I provide is collaborating with adults as a life coach. I utilize multiple counseling methods including Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help individuals achieve goals, feel more self-assured, and live life to the fullest. I am in the process of accepting insurance. I should be in-network with several additional insurance companies soon.
