Stacy Schmidt, LMHC-p I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Licensed Clinical Counseling from Saint Bonaventure University in 2021 and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2018. I come with 27 years’ experience serving youth in Allegany county through case management, after school programs and mental health counseling. I have dappled in counseling those with drug and alcohol dependency issues, survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and intensive in-home services for youth. I take a person-centered approach, meaning you are in the driver seat of your therapy. I strive to be a consistent support along the way who will help bring awareness of your strengths, assist with development of effective coping strategies and instill hope for reaching your goal of a better self. Currently, Stacy is not able to accept insurance, and can provide statements for insurance reimbursement. Check with your insurance provider to ask whether they do out of network reimbursement. Stacy is available Mondays and Wednesdays between 3:30 and 7:30pm.
