I partner with teens, adults, and families to guide them in understanding and managing tough emotional problems. I specialize in trauma-related mental health concerns and emotion regulation by utilizing multiple interventions. See the list below for accepted insurance plans for Deb. Stacy Schmidt, LMHC-p I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Licensed Clinical Counseling from Saint Bonaventure University in 2021 and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2018. I come with 27 years’ experience serving youth in Allegany county through case management, after school programs and mental health counseling. I have dappled in counseling those with drug and alcohol dependency issues, survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and intensive in-home services for youth. I take a person-centered approach, meaning you are in the driver seat of your therapy. I strive to be a consistent support along the way who will help bring awareness of your strengths, assist with development of effective coping strategies and instill hope for reaching your goal of a better self. Currently, Stacy is not able to accept insurance; however she can provide statements for insurance reimbursement. Check with your insurance provider to find out if you are eligible to receive reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services fees. Stacy is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 3:30 and 7:30pm.
