Introduction

I started working in the Social Work field in 1984. My first job was as an overnight tech in a Battered Women's Shelter. I then went ot work in the Community Mental Health area where I worked for the next 30 plus years. I had many roles, from individual counselor to Clinical Director. After that I worked for 5 years in Psychiatric Social Work at UC Hospital. I have a broad educational and experiential background. What I provide that is my greatest strength is acceptance of human beings and knowing my own limitations. I am very result oriented and believe in giving clients the tools to better care for their mental health.
