'You are that which you are seeking'-Saint Francis. So often we look outside of ourselves thinking that some one or some thing will make us feel more whole, happier, more solid. But no matter what we seek, we find we are still suffering. When we have experienced challenges or trauma in childhood or adulthood, we may even abandon ourselves, thinking that if we can just fit in, then we will feel less pain. Or we may believe we have to go it alone because we can't truly trust anyone else. I want to help you understand how your life story may have brought you to where you are today and that some of your behaviors now may have been adaptations to survive hard times, but they may not be the most desirable means for moving forward and thriving. We can absolutely heal from trauma and create a life that we enjoy. We can learn to feel content in our own skin and to truly love ourselves and accept ourselves as beautiful, messy humans. And from there we can begin to love and rely on others in a healthy, empowering way. I am here to sit with you on this journey to a life that feels worth living.
