Introduction

Deborah Litberg, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) has been practicing for more than 20 years. This private practice addresses the mental health needs of individuals who are hearing, D/deaf and/or Hard of Hearing. Psychotherapy and advocacy is offered through a collaborative relationship that encompasses trust and respect for the uniqueness of each client. Modes of treatment include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Mindfulness, and an eclectic tool chest from which coping skills are used for dysregulation and growth in vulnerable areas. The style used to provide treatment is an interactive and solution-focused therapy. Therapeutic approaches provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With grace and compassion, I work with each individual to help build on each client's strengths to encourage personal growth.
