Introduction

I love helping people re-connect with their own happiness and practice a strength-based approach to assessment, strategies and treatment! My clinical expertise is in combining specialized clinical knowledge and skills in the service of resolving anxiety and depression. I find that many people diagnosed with long-standing clinical depression and anxiety are often suffering from the negative impact of self-criticism, relationship discord, past trauma, or achievement fatigue, and that once these are addressed, their symptoms subside. My intention is to help provide a safe space to reduce your suffering and provide coping strategies. I walk alongside my clients on their journey and I endeavor to help get them to a place that they were capable of all along… wholeness and growth. I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Art Therapy, Family Systems, and Positive Behavior Interventions. I'm a fully trained EMDR Therapist – an evidenced-based trauma reprocessing therapy. From my own experiences with grief and life challenges, I personally know what it means to take time to heal and how difficult it can be to change. We may not get to control life circumstances, but we get to choose how we handle it. I hope to make the journey to recovery easier. Please contact me for a free consultation. I look forward to speaking with you!
