Introduction

Dr. Dawson's experience in both clinical and school settings gives her thorough understanding of students and their needs, as well as the needs of their parents and other adults. She received a BA in Psychology from Cornell University and a PsyD in Applied Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She has worked in public and private schools as well as in private practice. She has consulted with schools and agencies, conducted workshops for parents, teachers, and other professionals, and supervised new psychologists. She lives in the area with her family and two rescue dogs.
