I believe that when a person feels safe, accepted, and emotionally supported that healing can begin. My style is warm, gentle, encouraging, and collaborative. I focus on connecting with you, exploring your story, and identifying strengths and opportunities. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon, with a master's degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from George Fox University. In addition, I am a Registered Play Therapist, which I use in my work with children. Play therapy is a powerful tool that can help children explore and express their thoughts and emotions, process their experiences, and develop more effective strategies for managing problems. I believe in the importance of caring for a child’s emotional health and the benefits it can have as they develop and move through life. I also understand the support that parents and caregivers need.
