Guiding you back to hope and healing -- I'm a clinical social worker who provides secular psychotherapy to adults and teens coping with attention deficit disorders or childhood trauma. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and have been in private practice since 2018. Prior to that, I spent many years working with adults in a community mental health setting in addition to experience in an intensive outpatient setting that treated psychiatric and substance use disorders, a children's advocacy center, and a therapeutic foster care agency. From those settings, I gained experience treating a wide variety of issues with a diverse array of clients. I completed my Master of Social Work degree at Alabama A & M University in 1998. I've been a clinical social worker since 2001. I aim to provide a high quality of personalized care in a peaceful environment. Sessions are held in my office inside Peaceful Pathways, Suite 202 at 120 West Dublin Drive, Madison, AL. If you hope to use insurance to pay for your therapy, it's wise for you to contact your insurance provider (call the number on the back of your insurance card) to ask if services by the therapist you want to see are covered by your health insurance policy. Your insurance company should be able to tell you if you would owe a copayment for services, what amount that should be, whether you have a deductible to meet before they cover services, and which providers in your area are covered, if the one you chose is not.
