Introduction

All too often, we are seeing children struggling in school, struggling with peers, struggling emotionally. It can be difficult to know how to address these struggles when it is unclear what is causing them. There can be many causes for these problems, including underlying learning, attention, or communication issues. Children can also experience anxiety, depression, or other emotional difficulties as a result of these problems or other types of external stressors. We offer psychological and ADHD evaluations to assist in offering diagnostic clarity to these types of situations. We partner with an educational testing service to provide a thorough evaluation of all areas of your child’s functioning. Each evaluation is custom-designed to address your child’s specific needs. We provide specific and comprehensive recommendations for treatment or support based on the findings of your child’s evaluation. I am a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. I have many years of experience working in the school system, helping children experience more success in school and in relationships. I am also a trauma specialist, with a deep understanding of the neurobiological changes that occur as a result of toxic stress. I work from a strengths-based perspective, and believe that all children have the internal resources they need to thrive.
