Navigating a professional career can be overwhelming. Juggling a demanding job, personal relationships, family life—whether it includes kids, a partner, or a beloved pet—can feel like a delicate balancing act. At times, it might seem easier to turn to alcohol or other substances to cope. You may feel isolated, like no one truly understands what you're going through, leading to choices that aren’t always in your best interest. You might not even be sure if it’s a problem, but deep down, you know you need someone who is relatable, experienced, and genuine to help you navigate these challenges. Maybe you’ve lost passion for your job, questioning whether it’s really the career you envisioned. Perhaps you’re a seasoned professional contemplating retirement but still eager to remain active in your field. Or maybe you’re a recent graduate, equipped with the skills and training, yet struggling to find your place amid constant rejections. No matter where you are in your journey, you’ve come to the right place. I provide counseling services for adolescents and adults dealing with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other forms of distress, alongside substance use concerns. With my background as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, I am equipped to support individuals from diverse backgrounds, career paths, and personal experiences, helping them manage mental health and substance use issues effectively. My evaluations and recommendations are supported by my clinical experience, training, and education. I have evaluated numerous individuals and have provided recommendations for returning to work, retaining CDLs, and retaining driver's licenses. I am a certified DOT SAP and NRC SAE. Registered DOT SAP on the FMCSA Clearinghouse I have a post-masters certificate in rehabilitation counseling and behavioral addictions, and I am a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS in NC) and Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICAADC).
