Social scientists know that humans are relational creatures, and are happier and more productive when relationships are healthy. I chose a profession in Marriage and Family Therapy because I am passionate about helping people understand the dynamics in their relationships, how to improve them, and how these relationships can shape their sense of self. Much of my work focuses on targeting ineffective beliefs and behaviors that impact my client’s view of his/herself and current relationships. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals as well teaching practice tools for communicating and resolving conflict. I love teaching about healthy connections in relationships, and about the complications that arise with loss and painful experiences in relationships. I am interested in working with individuals, couples and families, participating in workshops, speaking engagements, and podcasts. If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation with me, please send an email or make an appointment request.
