Dawn is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont University in Atlanta Georgia. She specializes in working with women from all ages and stages of life dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, codependency, boundary problems, and childhood trauma. She has special interest working with spouses of addiction, infidelity, betrayal, PTSD, military/veterans, narcissistic abuse and religious trauma. Dawn is trained in multiple modes of therapy to include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Intimacy Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is a specialized experiential trauma therapy that helps connect the body, brain, and emotions and targets painful memories and messages for the purpose of comforting, healing, reparenting, reprocessing, re-scripting, and resolving unhealed hurt residing in the body.
