Introduction

I'm certified in dialectical behavioral therapy and work with several approaches that can help deepen your understanding about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will create a customized plan around your needs that may include helping you clarify your values and goals related to your authentic self, learn coping skills to manage different feelings, manage ineffective thoughts, strengthen interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, improve communication, and improve intimacy. I help to create with clients a psychotherapeutic sanctuary space. I am an interactive and reflective therapist who works with adults ages 18+. I am licensed as an LCSW in NY and NJ; I am also licensed as an LICSW in MA and RI. I have 15 years experience as an established psychotherapist working in different settings. Finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with is a crucial part of the treatment process. I offer a free consultation call in which I encourage you to share what brings you to treatment, ask about my treatment approach and see how comfortable you feel.
