Introduction

I provide short-term psychotherapy services that are practical and solution-focused.  A collaborative approach is taken when helping clients make the changes they are seeking.   Additionally, I am certified in Rapid Resolution Therapy using Clinical Hypnosis, for individuals who have suffered trauma.   My practice is a mix of couples therapy and working with adult individuals and adolescents.  I'm a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy and specialize in working with families that are going through difficult transitions such as divorce, re-marriage, or loss of a loved one.   I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish. Currently, I am on a few insurance panels but am happy to provide a super bill to clients for them to submit to their own insurance carrier for reimbursement.  Also, check to see if your employer has an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) that may assist with the cost. I am also a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (S.A.P.) and conduct employee evaluations for companies in the greater Rio Grande Valley who are under DOT guidelines.
