Introduction

David Procter, M.Ed, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate Supervised by Mark Cagle LCS My passion is working with adolescents and young adults. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including emotionally focused individual therapy and person-centered therapy. I believe that therapy works best when you feel heard, seen, and understood. My therapeutic style is collaborative, prioritizes building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients and I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each client. Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or simply want to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space, I am here to support you. I have a special interest in helping clients heal from toxic family systems and establish healthy boundaries with their families. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their identities and recover from trauma. I am an excellent fit for individuals seeking support with family estrangement, conflict, and difficult relationships with their families of origin. I am also skilled at working with clients to improve communication and satisfaction in their relationships. I am dedicated to offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ clients, affirming their identities and experiences. I understand the unique challenges and needs of the LGBTQ+ community and strive to create a space where all clients, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, feel supported and valued.
