I believe we're all natural storytellers. Our stories are self-created and influenced by the people and world around us. These stories help us to make meaning of our lives and experiences. Sometimes they help us to feel comfort and strength, while other times we may feel distressing and uncomfortable emotions. They can even get in the way of how we want to live our lives. When this happens, we can feel stuck and hopeless. Together, let’s explore how they are affecting you and help you to begin living your preferred story. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ folk through a variety of experiences. I want you to know that I create a space that is safe and celebratory of everyone. My training and experiences help me to bring an affirming and supportive approach to my work. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, meaning your wants, needs, and experiences are central to the work that we will do together. It is also collaborative, meaning that I see myself as a guide on your journey and you as the expert of your life and experiences. Together, we will work to explore the stories that are bringing you into therapy and consider how you can live your preferred story. Currently, I offer individual counseling and therapy via telehealth to adults (ages 18+) living in Pennsylvania.
