Introduction

David Jones, MA, LMFT, NCC It often starts with the unexpected. Unexpected news, unanticipated turns, unforeseen circumstances, and sometimes the unimaginable. It is at these times we can often feel powerless, afraid, confused, and uncertain. Change for some can be unwelcomed and for other’s change doesn’t seem to come soon enough. We cannot always choose what we go through, but we can choose how we go through it. Many seek therapy due to hard-fought battles with a variety of life issues, such as depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship problems, parenting challenges, and experiences from the past that keep them from moving forward. I believe I can help by facilitating change that comes through deep, personal reflection and secure, meaningful relationships. The “change” offered through psychotherapy (literally “soul healing”) is just what is sounds like. This is what I offer, and my training is in trauma, depression, anxiety, as well as in relational and family therapies. Are you needing support in figuring out who you are, where your life is going, and what it all means? To heal from past traumas, face life's challenges effectively and courageously, resolve relationship issues, or simply need someone to talk to in order to sort things out? I believe I can help. You are not alone, you matter, you are here for a reason.
