Introduction

Are you ready to re-write your story? I have been working with clients for the last four years in out-patient settings helping them discover the stories that have been waiting for them. As we live our lives, we tell ourselves a story about our past, what we hope or fear for our future, and have an on-going narrative about what’s happening in our present-day life. But sometimes those stories have become distorted in the telling, based on our experiences, unhealthy thought patterns, and toxic relationships. But distorted stories aren’t the true story about who we are. It is my job to help you lay out the stories that exist in your world, and help you differentiate the truth from the distortion. This is not lying to ourselves. For example, a person who struggles with anxiety, we don't want to change the story to be that they are the most confident person in the world. This would just be a different kind of distortion. So, what is the true story that will help us live a life of joy, passion, contentment, and satisfaction? Utilizing a combination of Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology, I work with adult individuals in Oregon and Arizona and am looking forward to working with you. I accept insurances (below) in Oregon, and take cash only for Arizona clients (I can provide a Superbill when requested). If you are ready to write a new story in your life, don’t hesitate to reach out to me to schedule an appointment or ask questions that are important for you to know the answers to prior to committing to a therapeutic relationship.
