Hello! My name is Darlene Rayet Corrales, and I am a dedicated mental health and addiction therapist with over 16 years of experience in the mental health and substance use fields. As a proud Hispanic woman, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my practice, and I am committed to providing compassionate and effective care to all my clients. I am pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, which allows me to deepen my understanding and enhance the support I provide to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This academic journey fuels my passion for continuous learning and growth, ensuring I stay at the forefront of the latest therapeutic practices. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including children aged 4 to 17 with maladaptive behaviors and diagnoses such as Autism, Bipolar Disorder, and Conduct Disorder. My experience also extends to working with hospice care and dementia patients for over three and a half years, where I developed a deep appreciation for the complexities of mental health across different life stages. My background includes working in various settings, such as inpatient care, crisis units, and outpatient services. This breadth of experience has equipped me with the skills to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. Being bilingual, I can connect with clients in English and Spanish, ensuring that language is not a barrier to receiving the support they deserve. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard and empowered. Together, we can navigate your challenges, celebrate your strengths, and work toward a healthier and happier future. If you’re ready to take the first step on your journey to healing, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to create the change you seek! Please note that this therapist is currently accepting new patients and would be honored to join you on your path to healing. All intake assessments requested will be completed within 24 hours.
