I have been practicing since 2012 in the field of trauma and substance use. I empower families to find the strengths within each of them and work on changing their focus to strengths instead of weaknesses. I practice positive psychology, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy as well as play therapy to engage families and individuals in healing. I embrace creativity while helping individuals find a stronger sense of peace and stability. I tend to use an informal approach with children and teens which can help those who struggle with opening up. I encourage individuals to find a therapist that connects with their needs. If I am not that therapist, I will help you find a therapist who will better suit you. I believe that healing is about connection. As a therapist, my main goal is to help those in need.
