Working with me has been described as supportive, compassionate, validating, humorous, attentive and awful (let’s face it, I’m not everyone’s cup of tea- rapport and connection do matter). I’ll listen to your story with a focus on hearing those avoidable suffering points that you may be missing on your own. I’ll often propose experiments to take what we’re working on and actually apply it in real life. Irreverent humor may occur. I’ll frequently remind you of your “humanness.” I might suggest some kindness toward yourself for a change. I’ll often ask “what do we want to accomplish today?” Overall, I aim to create a space that helps you move toward what matters.
