Introduction

For so long, all you can remember is tired, sad, or angry. Self-doubt is crippling, and you know what you should do but cannot seem to get yourself to do it. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, no silver lining. Your anxiety takes over and it feels like the whole world is pressing down. The days your bed seems to suck you in because it is the only place where you can hide. You feel like shattering. Keep going. Healing is messy. It is waking up each day and turning and facing your past, facing your pain. Healing is challenging. It is deciding that you are going to challenge everything you know to reach for something better. Healing is empowering. It is looking at your trauma and knowing that it cannot control you anymore. Healing doesn’t have to be done alone. My job is to walk the path with you and be your guide. Stand beside you and face your trauma, your past, your pain. It is possible to find the life you want for yourself. There is something to be said for how you hold yourself together. Even now, as broken as you may feel, you are stronger than you know. This is your call to heal. Reach out to me and let me help you find the light. It does not have to be pretty or graceful, you just have to keep going.
