DaNysha Dickens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) dedicated to making a difference in North Carolina. With over five years of social work experience, she has responded to crises related to homelessness, disabled veterans, mental health, and substance use. Graduating with a Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completing her Master of Social Work at Walden University, DaNysha has practiced various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Growing up in Southeast Raleigh, DaNysha witnessed her community's daily challenges, inspiring her to work closely with marginalized communities. Her passion for therapy extends to children, recognizing its vital role in their development. She believes in providing a nurturing and supportive environment where young individuals can explore their emotions and challenges. DaNysha is dedicated to providing culturally appropriate therapy to promote mental wellness, resilience, equity, and breaking societal stigmas.
