Introduction
Hi, I’m Dr. Danielle, owner of Conversations on the Couch. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to change, take control of their lives, and look for someone to walk by their side during this process. I work well with folks who want to: establish and maintain healthy boundaries, foster self-compassion, and self-reflection, and navigate complex familial, romantic, and interpersonal relationships. Furthermore, those interested in identifying, experiencing, and expressing their emotions, needs, and dreams would benefit from treatment with me as their clinician. Clients and I explore childhood experiences as they can significantly impact our capacities for interpersonal relationships and our unique ways of being in adulthood. I encourage clients to develop a deeper relationship with their symptoms and the challenges they encounter in their lives. I strive to help my clients weave personal narratives, to create a space where curiosity and self-compassion exist. I inject humor into my work so that heavy topics can be approached with a measure of levity. I am sensitive to my client's experiences on an individual, collective, intergenerational, and ancestral level.
