Introduction

Hi my name is Danielle! Are you dealing with symptoms that have been labeled as diagnoses? Are you navigating complex feelings about your identity, culture, or relationships? Do you or your child experience emotions or behaviors that feel hard to express or manage? Do words sometimes feel limiting when it comes to sharing your internal world? You don’t have to go through it alone — I’m here to support you. My doctoral research centered on the intersections of multiracial and multicultural identities, using art therapy and systemic thinking as tools for deeper understanding and healing. I work with individuals and couples to explore the layered and often nuanced experiences of identity, especially within the context of life in America. I believe in the power of cultural humility to inform meaningful, socially just therapeutic practice. I also explore my own identity and growth through ongoing art-making, personal therapy, and consultation with experienced clinicians. This reflective work supports me in creating a compassionate, responsive, and collaborative space for my clients.
