Introduction

Welcome to Arizona Connections Play Therapy! It can be SO HARD to reach out and ask for help. We are proud of you! Arizona Connections Play Therapy believes that the goal of therapy is to get out of therapy. You and your family should feel equipped and have tools to keep your head above the water. Our team at AzCPT loves working with families including kids, teens, couple's, and coparents. We believe in the magic that is play therapy. Play is the language of our children; their brain is still developing language, but through play, they are able to communicate their needs to us. It is also another way our adult brains can think about what's going on in a different way. Another core component that we believe in is approaching treatment from a trauma- informed perspective. The team uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence- based therapy that holds the premise that the way one thinks, feels, and acts is because of past experiences that taught them to do so. Many people believe that EMDR is just for trauma; however, let's remember that trauma is subjective. Two people can be in the same car accident. One person will be just fine, but the other may not be able to drive for a while. Danielle is not currently accepting new clients. Email for waitlist.
