Introduction

After years in corporate and administrative roles, Dani pursued and received her master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. Dani completed a year-long post-graduate course in Couples and Family Therapy from Jonah Green and Associates and has additional post-graduate training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Basics, Motivational Interviewing in Substance Use Discovery, and Person-Centered Treatment Planning. Following her graduate program, Dani has worked as a therapist and psychiatric rehabilitation case manager with individuals, couples, and families at Vesta, Inc., a nonprofit community mental health organization serving Medicare and Medicaid recipients throughout Maryland. Treatment Approach Dani’s areas of most significant interest and experience include working with clients of multicultural/mixed culture backgrounds, members of the LGBTQ+ community, couples, and families working through challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, social skills, and interpersonal conflict. Dani facilitates this work using an integrative therapeutic approach rooted in Adlerian psychotherapy, developmental psychology, positive psychology, and person-centered therapy.
