Going to therapy implies the courage to question ourselves and face the challenges that get in the way of self-acceptance. Our lives change and we often struggle to change with it. I believe therapy can be a transformative encounter that allows a different experience of ourselves. As a native Spanish-English speaker, I provide a culturally sensitive approach to therapy and am mindful of race, gender, sexuality, and class intersections. My background and my current role as a clinician at Harvard University Counseling and Mental Health Services have allowed me to work with patients from all over the world. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and aim to foster a safe and confidential space for my clients to express themselves freely. I help adults with a range of issues associated with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions. I also work with graduate students and young professionals. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, and their families from a systems perspective, helping support developmental transitions and issues with identity.
