Licensed Counselor Daniel Hofmann Counseling, LLC
Specialties: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Attachment Issues, Burnout,

Introduction

Allow me to join you on your journey to creating a fulfilling and peaceful life. Whether you're dealing with an acute stressor, or have been struggling for years, we will discover the points along the way that knocked you off course and get you set back on the right path. Painful experiences you've internalized will be examined, reprocessed, and updated. New skills for coping with stress and remaining steadfast in turmoil will be learned. I work from a non-pathologizing and non-judgmental stance and will provide a safe, welcoming space to explore your story. I will strive to understand who you are and will be compassionate when challenging you to try something new. My approach is integrative and strengths-based. You already have what you need to heal within yourself; you might just need some help finding it. Who am I? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2016 and my M.S. in Counselor Education with a focus in Couples and Family Therapy from Portland State University in 2019. I have clinical experience with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Prior to starting my own practice, I worked in non-profit community mental health centers and a private group practice. I also have extensive experience working in early childhood education. I was born and raised on Maui, HI and moved to Oregon to pursue my education. I have made a home here in Portland with my Fiancee, our two cats, and a handful of close friends.
