Danah is a licensed professional with an international background, who is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and Certified Trauma Professional. Danah is experienced in providing mental health counseling, clinical assessment, and therapeutic care to individuals with diverse backgrounds and ranges of concerns, such as anxiety, grief, trauma, personality disorders, co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, life transitions, and relationship conflict. She completed her Master of Social Work with clinical focus at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. Danah also has experience living abroad for over 6 years and grew up undergoing international schooling throughout. She was fortunate enough to be exposed to a rich multicultural environment from an early age, so she considers all aspects of a client’s worldview when selecting a treatment approach. Danah utilizes collaborative, strength-based, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused approaches to therapy. She maintains an empathetic ear while offering the flexibility and awareness necessary to best meet the needs of every unique client she serves. Danah views herself as a life-long learner with a self-motivated pursuit for knowledge in order to stay informed and best-serve her clients and future clients.
