"It's not easy to keep trying, but it's one good way to grow" - Mr. Fred Rogers I work from a strengths-based foundation to explore early and current relationships, build coping tools, manage anxiety or depression symptoms, change patterns, and solve problems. I enjoy using art therapy with both teens and adults, as well as other creative interventions like yoga/meditation, journaling, or walking therapy through Fred Richards park. I work with teens (ages 13+) and adults. I validate the experiences of all people, and work to create an affirming and safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as those from diverse cultures. I am available to support you on your journey to better mental health with either in person or virtual appointments. I have been trained in WPATH standards and am available for assessments/letter writing to assist in obtaining gender-affirming care, either as part of ongoing therapy or as a separate evaluation service. Please reach out with any questions you may have, and I would be happy to talk more to explore if we may be a good fit for work together.
