Originally from North Carolina and now proudly based in Arizona since 2005, Dan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their paths toward mental wellness. With an undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2024, Dan is passionate about guiding individuals through their struggles and helping them unlock their potential for growth. For more than fifteen years, Dan has had the privilege of working in a variety of community mental health settings—residential, clinical, and home- and community-based services. This diverse experience has allowed Dan to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, from different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic environments, as well as those facing serious mental illness and substance abuse challenges. Dan’s counseling approach is grounded in the belief that every person deserves a safe, nonjudgmental, and authentic space to heal. He is deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. His work is driven by a genuine passion for helping individuals not only overcome their struggles but also embrace their inherent strength, resilience, and capacity for change.
