Hello there, y buen dia! I got my start in the field of clinical social work in 2000, working both in community mental health and services to the houseless. Over time I specialized in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and practiced group and individual DBT for 7 years with people experiencing PTSD and self injury. More recently, I have served in the Portland VA Healthcare System working with houseless veterans living in rural communities, I also practice Hospice Social Work for PeaceHealth, and can support clients through Bereavement and complex Grief. I have recently trained in Internal Family Systems Level I, and received my Certificate of Completion from the IFS Institute. I work in my therapy practice utilizing Art Therapy and Narrative therapy within an IFS framework, or can work simply within the IFS Modality. I am a licensed clinical social work supervisor offering supervision towards licensure with the Oregon Board. I am near fluent in Spanish, though my Spanish is admittedly conversational, and I have less experience utilizing it professionally. I think you'll find my language level to be quite advanced, however, and I have delivered care in Spanish in the past. Me da honra para servirle!
