I came into social work as a mother of three children and struggling to find my own way through my traumas. I started my career as a mental health clinician and worked my way up to the Adult Outpatient Supervisor at a local community mental health clinic in a rural community before starting my own private practice. I specialize in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) which teaches skills to manage emotions and communicate better. I also specialize in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) which can help process traumatic experiences. Lastly, I love interacting and getting to know people and their stories and helping them find their personal patterns that can get them stuck.
