I’ve always had a passion for problem solving, helping others sort through their challenges and helping create a balance they struggled to find on their own. As a child I’ve witnessed substance abuse and domestic violence within my family and community. Which caused me to see and understand trauma through the eyes of a child and an adult. As a Therapeutic Staff Support Specialist, I started helping children in school and at home with behavior modifications and interventions. During this period, I found that there was so much more I could do to help many others, with an entire world of research that I needed to explore. That is when I decided to continue my education and graduated with my master’s degree in addiction counseling. After graduating, I transitioned to being a Mobile and Behavioral Therapist, allowing me to implement and create treatment plans for my clients. I have an extensive background in working with children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient residential, outpatient clinics, and community-based facilities. My clients are very high functioning and more than capable of sorting through traumatic challenges because of my special technique and approach. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional I provide therapy services to individuals and families. During your first session you can expect to complete a biopsychosocial and an initial treatment plan, counseling services are also provided via telehealth. My therapeutic services are unique with an interactive and goal-oriented approach; thus, providing inclusion and participation in creating the perfect treatment plan. My clients are treated with respect and compassion while also acknowledging their level of comfort and sensitivity.
