Introduction

Hello, my name is Cyndi DeBey. I was born and raised in a small town in North Central Kansas. I grew up in a sports focused family and started my education at Fort Hays State University. My family and I moved to Missouri where I completed my BSW at Missouri Western State College. I then completed my MSW from the University of Missouri and went on to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have more than 25 years of Social Work experience. I am a Christian and I have successfully counseled both Christians and those from other faiths or beliefs. Once we speak you will understand that I am here to help you. You may already know and understand the area(s) in your life where you need support, or you may need someone to help determine why your struggles feel overwhelming. If you do need therapy services, I have the experience to help you identify your specific need and determine the best avenue for you to work through it. I have experience with many areas, such as those difficult aging concerns (adjustment, memory), general feelings of being overwhelmed, relationship conflicts, grief, as well as stress due to medical, professional, or sports issues. I have also supported individuals with caregiver stress, anxiety, sleep, pain and depression. If you are looking to change a behavior that negatively impacts your health, set up a time to talk to me about my smoking cessation and behavioral weight loss programs. Through my many years of working as a social worker, I have had the opportunity to meet and learn from a diverse group of individuals with an unmeasurable range of needs. Each experience has helped provide me with the expertise I need to support you. Consider reaching out to schedule your free, 15-minute consultation. You are allowed to talk and ask questions without making a therapy commitment - or send me a question through the confidential email provided on this website. Appointment availability can be discussed at that time as well as self-pay rates if needed. cyndidebey@brieftherapy4u.com 816-248-5745 I look forward to hearing from you! Cyndi
