Accepting new clients. We all face life circumstances that test our faith and resilience, and sometimes we need someone to talk to who can listen and also provide helpful insight and feedback. I am trained to provide individual and couples therapy using a wide variety of interventions. I have been providing therapy since 2007 and trained in many different approaches: cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, emotional freedom techniques, and EMDR. I see adults with a wide variety of presenting issues including trauma, abuse and neglect, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, anger management, and parenting issues. I can adapt my approach to fit your needs. This is accomplished by utilizing an Outcome-Informed orientation that focuses on the common factors inherent in all therapy models that research has shown helps produce positive outcomes in therapy such as client strengths, empathy, the therapeutic relationship, and providing honest feedback. During the initial session, an assessment of your strengths and needs will be completed as well as goal exploration to address your presenting concerns. Based on the assessment, I will provide you with an explanation of the interventions that may be of help and we can explore your options.
